  1. Download the pack: Grab MuffCraft-0.3.0.zip from the download section below
  2. Open PrismLauncher
  3. Add Instance → Import from zip
  4. Select the downloaded zip
  5. Wait for mods to download (grab a coffee ☕)
  6. Launch and profit!
💡 Pro tip: Allocate at least 10GB RAM in instance settings. This pack is CHONKY.

🔄 UPGRADING FROM A PREVIOUS VERSION?

⚠️ Back Up Before You Update!

MuffCraft isn't on CurseForge — each version is a fresh instance. Your maps, keybinds, and settings won't carry over automatically. Copy these folders from your old instance to the new one:

Instance folder: Right-click your old MuffCraft instance → Folder → open .minecraft

📁 Copy these folders:

  • • journeymap/ — your world maps
  • • config/fancymenu/ — menu customizations
  • • options.txt — keybinds, video settings, controls
  • • servers.dat — your server list
  • • screenshots/ — your screenshots
  • • shaderpacks/ — your shaders
  • • resourcepacks/ — only custom ones you added

🚫 Do NOT copy:

  • • mods/ — new version has updated mods
  • • kubejs/ — new scripts & data
  • • config/ (other than fancymenu) — merged configs

⚠️ OPERATIONAL NOTES

Known Issue: First Realm Join

Due to a third-party dependency conflict (Corail Tombstone + Cobblemon interaction handling), you may experience a network protocol error on your first connection to a realm/server.

Resolution: Simply reconnect. The error only occurs once per session and does not affect gameplay.

This is an upstream issue tracked at Cobblemon #1949. Hawthorne Industries is monitoring the situation for future optimization opportunities.
